[bg=131111][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=border,0,true]There was no doubt in her mind that she had wandered in circles for hours, because that bush was all too familiar. The hoof prints which dented the ground matched her's far too well to be evidence of any other equine - she felt like she had traveled this land long enough that had there of been another horse around here, she would have already found him. But there should be at least one horse here... Indeed, the musk of a stallion seemed omnipresent within the atmosphere. She knew that the Emperor of Forsyth was somewhere around here for he had taken power two years prior to her arrival and had ruled every since. The fae knew him only as the Emperor and nothing else, and considering the only evidence of him was his scent, she saw no point in crying out to a ghost.
Ivory body glistened in the clear spring sky, sparkling stars beginning to dim as the sun neared its crest to the horizon. A sigh escaped her lungs and caused nigrescent valves to flare, dark maple brown orbs scanning her surroundings. It was time to take cover before the sun scattered the shadows, but where. Lithe appendages carried her elegantly in ever direction, a blurr of bushes, dead trees and loose soil blurring. She was finding it impossible to focus when part of her was concerned for her safety - curious as to how she would be recieved by this unknown Emperor, or if she would be had at all. A small squeal escaped parted lips as her legs brushed some thorny vegetation, pupils dilating to actually view the culprit. Yet another snort escamed her in dismissal before Ellyria continued to roam around, looking midly disoriented though in prime shape physical wise.

Great stallion stood on pillars of stone. Red cadavar motionless as the moon crossed the sky. How long he had stood there, taking in the beauty of his lands. Minutes? Hours? It mattered not as a constant wind brought the scent of mare to his nostrils. She would be ready in time. As it was, the stallion waited. Deep brown orbs followed the fae as she walked in circles. Of course, it was a large circle, but a circle none-the-less. She was beautiful, everything he could possibly wish for in a mare. Even as Emperor, he had never seen such a perfect physique. If he bred that... Easy Malik. That'll have to wait.
Finally, she seemed approachable. Silent as death, limbs carried carcass toward the female. He approached from directly ahead of her. There was no reason to give fright. His lengthy observation told him that the mare was not blind, though she might not be able to see perfectly. Afterall, only moments earlier, she had run into a thorn bush. As he approached, several lines ran through his conciousness. Which one was the best option, however, escaped him. So, when the stallion reached her, he was silent. Auditory sensors pitched forward, entire appearance showing complete dominance. Brown pools of sight gave nothing away as pillars ceased movement, only a length before her.

[bg=131111][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=border,0,true]A disturbance ahead of the shela caused her some trepedition and she instinctively paused. Fore hoof hovered in mid-step before puncturing the ground nervously, though she was not hesitant in conveying her annoyance and intrigue at the imposer. Ivory caudal appendage flicked harmonously to the shifting winds, snorting almost contempously to hide the insecurities provoked by her peculiar 'blindness'. More than once she heard the humans refer to it as the equine version of ADHD where she was continously distracted, making it impossible for her to concentrate. Luckily such engagements as battles, preventing studs from breeding her and the sudden appearance of another horse enabled Ellyria to 'see clearer', in a sense.
Though the brute practiced being ellusive, her visual handicap proved to be Ellyria's strength as much as a weakness. His pungent odor was undeniable just as soon as the winds changed, but her sensative ears grabbed hold of his steps and light breathing like a fly caught in a web. The percussion of his footfalls told her that it was a male - or otherwise a very large female - and his musk confirmed his gender. Having her safety as a main interest in this strange land, Ellyria submissively lowered in head in a kind gesture; better to assume him nobility than a rogue. Blinking a few times to clear her mind, ebon pupils brought into focus a regal looking crimson stud who saughntered towards her quite proudly; and rightfully so. His position in the hierarchy was evident simply with how he carried himself and a content smile creased her labrums at having finally succeeded in finding the Emperor; or rather, he finding her. When he neglected to speak the damsel also did not know what to do other than to incline her finely chiseled skull in a respectful bow before maple orbs scanned the area nervously. Ellyria did not wish to speak out of turn, but then would she be percieved as rude if she did not greet the stud? Thinking his silence was intentional or otherwise a test, the fae took a single step towards him in recognition before lips parted.
Early morn', M'lord. I beg your pardon for intruding should it be seen as such. My name is Ellyria and I seek residence here, with you, or any where I am needed, if my company should be desired by thee.
Baroness spoke very formally with no hint of disrespect, and though her tone drooled confidence there was nothing arrogant about her. Ellyria dipped her head one last time when she finished her introduction and proposal, a hint of nervousness conveying her anticipation of being condemned as if she spoke out of turn. None the less she stood just as proudly as he though without nobility and accurately conveying a stature of submission, she lacked the extreme radiance the Emperor harbored. She shone none the less.

He stood in wait as the fae seemed to decide what to do. For a moment, only a moment, the brute considered speaking. However, fate would have none of it for every time he thought to say a word, he was distracted by the breathtaking bodice before his orbs. It was as if the heavens and the waters collided for a moment and left a beauty that any would envy for leagues. He had to have her. She must be his. The world would never be right in the stag's eyes unless she were with him always. If for no other reason than for him to look at her every day and smile at the thought of posession.
But what could come of a stallion so enraptured by nothing more than a mare's appearance. What would the fearless Warlords before him have thought? Surely neither of the Calibarr twins were ever swept from their hooves by such a sight. Then again, the legend of Erebus and Xochhi had reached his ears. Of course, he believed none of it. The Emporer paid no heed as she gently lowered her head at his initial approach, 'twas beyond him. One with his rank was used to such treatment from other horses. However, the second time bowed, he nodded in return. She deigned speak to him.
"Early morn', M'lord. I beg your pardon for intruding should it be seen as such. My name is Ellyria and I seek residence here, with you, or any where I am needed, if my company should be desired by thee."
Did his auds decieve him? Surely not. But, it sounded as if she were both apologizing for her tresspass as well as giving herself to him. The mare even knew enough manners to call him by a decent title. She was respectful, dignified, proud, confident, yet a little nervous. How she had managed to put all of such emotions into one intrance line unnerved him. As a stallion, as a male, he couldn't possibly fathom so many feelings at once. Tall aud flicked backwards, acknowledging her lyrics.
Pillar by pillar, the great stag walked around the mare. Yes, she truely was that beautiful. Ellyria. A good name for her. Hard to pronounce with a touch of mystery. The stag had never heard of such a name and he had never seen such a horse. Yes, she could stay, but she would never be out of his sight for long. Gently, his muzzle trailed along her flank. Nares quivered, taking in her scent. He would remember that smell for eternity. Of course, if things went his way, he wouldn't have to remember. The stallion made no move to mount her or otherwise dominate the mare. In fact, he gave her hindquarters a wide berth.
As Emporer, he was more than aware of how a mare could completely change personas when the topic of sex was unearthed. He had less than no intention of spooking Ellyria. Slowly, very slowly, he made his circuit. Hoofprints leaving dust to gather in the air for the wind to dispose of. Eventually said dust would return to the earth from whence it came and be used in the great circle of things. But the Emporer wasn't concerned with such a thing now. No, he had a mare to tend to.
"I am Malik, Emperor of Castin. You are forgiven. As for residence within my lands under my rule and protection...what is it, Ellyria, that you offer me in return?"
