The terrain here is not sandy but is also not firm - good enough to have large plots of grass but the trees here are few and often gnarled. This prairie also has a few large boulders which also provide shade during the heat of the day. Once upon a time area was dotted with holes, homes to families of prairie dogs were poached by the humans. Occasionally one of these critters can be seen creeping around but their population has dwindled to almost none. The only known watering hole has gone stagnant from human use, often forcing the Glandim horses to rely on the rains from Archer, which are luckily quite frequent.
