The following are what The Damascus, The Forsyth and The Outcasts societies have in common:
- Dictatorship, not a democracy. Those in power - strictly the males - have all of the authority. They lead by authoritarian rule - what the Warlord/Emperor/Ehfton Leader says goes, regardless of what those lower down say.
- Patriarchal - the role of the male is stressed as more important than the females, thus the female's opinion has barely any impact on the region as a whole.
- The females plays almost no role other than serving, breeding and birthing.
- Considering most of the horses have some sort of war-blood in them, these societies can be and are aggressive and sometimes even blood thirsty.
- Unless otherwise stated, all equines started out as either a stallion, mare or offspring of their chosen region. All ranks must be earned and are appointed by those higher up, unless one is born into Noblity. Thus the Warlord, Emperor and Ehfton Leaders choose the Lords and Leaders of their lands (and Noblity when picking mares and stallions to strictly fight for their region and defend those in power). The Warlord and Emperor choose their Mistress' and Empress', Lords and Leaders choose who their Ladies are, though may also suggest horses for Noblity for fighting.
- The Warlord, Emperor and Ehfton Leaders may demote any horse for whatever reason. The Warlord and Emperor may also take a mare claimed by one of their Lords/Leaders for their own harem.
The Outcasts
- This society is made up of decietful, untrustworthy and unloyal equines. They are here because they have done something to their original regions - either The Damascus or The Forsyth - and have been forcefully ran out and no longer accepted.
- However, some innocent horses are forced into this society, because the Damascus and the Forsyth are not always fair. This has put some horses in a worse and more life-threatening situation than before.
- Anarchy - very broad and general hierarchy, constant argument over power and authority, constant struggle for those in power to keep their power.
- A lot of chaos. They don't have as much land, not as many resources. So there may often be a struggle over food and water, there is a constant struggle for survival within the Outcasts because not only are they targeting each other, but they are targeted by the other regions.
The Damascus
- Very, very strict and traditional; rank earns respect, but you must earn respect and be loyal to earn a rank.
- An equines position is stressed in this type of society - the higher you are the more important, the more you are respected and you are also supposed to be more loyal.
- Kill first ask questions later philosophy - keeps the Damascus from being infiltrated by spies or being easily overthrown, but also causes many innocent horses to be exiled, harmed and even killed.
- Seems like a very tight-knit society, loyal and trustworthy like everything is okay, but that's just because any sort of rebellion is responded to with harsh consequences. Damascus is probably the most likely society to have unloyal horses due to discontentment and being treated unfairly.
- A very unfair society where family and blood do not always come first. Can sometimes be untrustworthy, alliances are very important.
The Forsyth
- Not so much compassionate as patient; much more willing to try and understand and allow horses to explain.
- They do not accept rebels or disloyal members, but are more tolerable; not as quick to react aggressively.
- The untrustworthy and disloyal can more easily hide in this society because they are more often ignored than confronted. Perhaps this society is smarter because they concentrate more on the bigger picture than being nitpicky.
- Much more tight knit society because they show mercy, are more understanding. Kinder, but still patriarchial and running a dictatorship.
- More apt to accept the opinions of others, those not in rank, but that doesn't mean they don't use authoritarian rule.
