Character Name: Antigone
Pronounced: [an-tig-oh-knee]
Gender: Female
Age: 3
Rank: Native Mare
Appearance: Antigone’s coat is deep chestnut; with four white socks, and a white strip runs down from her forehead to the tip of her nose. She is of average size, but her legs are lean and made for running. Her build is on the lighter side, as she is made for speed and swift movement. With enough grace that surpasses a pristine ballerina's, she is the typical beauty. Sleek form and thick, sleek fur are attribute of perhaps a supreme air. There is nothing docile about this female, especially when she gets angry. Orbs of deep amber tints hold your gaze, mesmerizing and stunningly beautiful. They are deep with sincere kindness and understanding; and perhaps an air of mystery that keeps other guessing.
Personality: Arrogant- Antigone is possibly the most narcissistic creature that ever existed. She knows she looks good and she won’t demote herself for anything. She always thinks she’s right and is better than everybody else. She considers herself the most perfect creature in the world and won’t settle for less than that. She’s most likely the shallowest female you could ever come across, and she’s surprisingly proud of the fact.
Judgemental- This mare judges like nothing you’ve ever seen. If you’re not perfect in every way, you’re not good enough in her eyes. If you have the tiniest flaw, she’s already judging you by it. Every first impression counts, and if you screw it up you’ve probably screwed up any chances of friendship with her. If you talk, walk, or look weird she’s noticed it immediately and she’s already thinking trashy things about your imperfections. This can cause others to think she’s a ruthless bitch and can lose good friendship opportunities.
Loyal – If you happen to get past the high hurtles Antigone sets when picking friends, you’re golden. She will always be your friend and she’ll never leave your side. She’s extremely devoted, loyal, and protective of her close companions. After you’ve passed the tests she no longer judges you; even if you have the worst mutations and configurations in your appearance. She’ll always be a reliable horse to turn to.
Mysterious: There is something about Antigone that screams ‘mystery’. Perhaps it’s the fact that she’s almost impossible to read and that her mood never quite stays in one place for any elongated periods. It has been known to make males try to the best of their abilities to pursue her, though they always give up the chase when they discover that she’ll never let them in. It’s a depressing fact, but a fact nonetheless.
Indecisive: When it comes to making any type of decision, Antigone doesn’t have a clue. She flip flops in her opinions often towards the point where it’s questionable if she even has any viewpoints of her own. If you ask her why she picks something, she’ll always have legit reasons for either side of the problem; but she can never decide which one she supports more. She’s a confusing, complex being.
Note: She loves Winter. It’s her favorite season.
Rp Sample: The sun threw mottled patterns of shadows through the patchwork of smog that meandered and lumbered about it, glowing haphazardly across the tightly packed remnants of oriental buildings. A wayward breeze rustled everything that was loose and light, causing debris, leaves, and various indistinguishables to flutter and dance in the tickling gales. A tapered maw breathed in deep lungfuls of the air, measured its subtle scents that told of Winter’s chilly reign, and the promise of harsher weather still to come. But still, she welcomed it with open arms. Winter was perhaps the female’s favorite season with its frigid iciness and fluffy snow. She was built for it; blessed with the attributes her ancient breed had graciously given her to cope with such glacial conditions. And for this, she was very grateful.
Footfalls were hushed amidst the scattered grasses grown between cracked cement swaying in the tides of cooling breezes, which raced across the power plant unhinged alike wild deer in the summer dawn. A slender, feminine form emerged amongst the field of desolation, deep amber irises twinkled as a smirk graced the sacred visage of the female, attempting to create peace out of this result of abandonment and atrocity. With the mere tilt of her chin to embrace the sky, her appearance adopted an aristocratic air that was liable to create jealousy amongst other females in its mere entirety. But despite her appearance, this creature was not one to demand attention. She was merely observing the hidden splendor and serenity of the area; something quite difficult to do, due to the broken and worn out plants and the damaged streets. Even the sky was dim and grey as her gaze attempted to penetrate the darkness, putting a damper on her thoughts.
The sun rose from behind a set of pallid moisture in the azure abyss, causing its golden tendrils to descend from its brilliant mass and caress the ground below it with bright, yellow beams. The warmth of the rays seeped through the thick fur that covered dark skin, causing an involuntary sigh to fall past black lips as her eyes closed; relishing the rarity of the solar mother’s affection. And suddenly, it was gone. Another thick group of clouds had stolen the sunlight and had selfishly masked the world of it…again. A low snort lingered past flaring nostrils as the fae felt a staggering coldness take over the vicinity once more. But the anger was short lived as the shoulders moved in a careless shrug and the equine came to welcome the frigidity once more before she continued her ingress across the snow ridden clearing.
Fluctuating in the winds was a luscious fragrance of another. The womanly entity ceased the movement of cleanly slender limbs to gaze in the general direction in which the aroma seemed to be coming from; approaching at a slow pace. Her bleached sapphire eyes were slightly occluded by narrowing lids of tissue as she surveyed the area, and sharp tipped ears fidgeted with the various incoming noises in an attempt to discern valuable information for her usage. The other was certainly traveling her direction, possibly just taking a stroll and enjoying the day; it was possible. Taking smooth strides forth, Antigone walked towards the oncoming beast; every movement easy and self-assured.
Already she was prepared to treat the male with the usual casual response she conveyed with all strangers; the mask had already been placed on her. Everything was just so much easier when you were trained in the art of acting as if nothing mattered. And this other canine would be no different; she would not show the true heart that was concealed in a vault of icy stone. But as she took a few more strides, she came face to face with a large stallion. Purely masculine and with a deliciously handsome appearance; the beautiful bitch was already attracted…though she would not show it. An expressionless smile appeared on her dark lips, unintentionally striking and seductive on such a pretty visage. ”Hello.” The word shattered the silence in the form of a clear and purely feminine voice. However, she still held the remarkable poker face she had mastered over years of practice despite the smile that curved her mouth skyward. She now simply waited for a response without saying any more; curious as to what his words would be.
