Character Name: Void
Pronounced: [V-oi-d]
Gender: Stallion
Age: 4
Rank: Warlord
Other Characters: None
Appearance: Have you ever looked into the void? Have you ever seen that complete obsidian that is not really there. Looking into the eyes of the Void is like seeing the future, you know everything and yet you know nothing. His eyes, they spark to life when angered, but is it really color or power? Even when in the dead of darkness there is no light, not from the twinkle of a star nor the full blown beauty of the moons cold rays; ebony coat glistens with the reflection of polished silver. Even when the sun is rising, splashing the world in bloody red; ebony coat glistens with the tang of metallic. Grown unruly, long mane and tale always tangle; it blows in the wind like a banner representing the wild and unruly souls of the equines. Hooves at an odd with the rest. As pale as aged bone, as sharp as daggers; great hooves grace the pillars of the Void. Ready to fly over the land without really ever touching it. Ready to clash in the air, thrashing a dominate speal. Bulging, chiseled, defined, a body of dominance. A body of bulk, a force to be noticed.
But where the male beauty catches the attention it is also trying to diminish the area's in which it falls short. Dark brown almost black eyes sit in a deep dished face; they scare more then assure. Such soulless eyes may put you on guard or even pull to life the fight response. They don’t help when Void is in a good mood and wants to get to know someone. His pelt always glistening is like a beacon to every being. 'I am here!' It screams. Which when predators are about hinders. The wind is not always the friend, it's emotions are never the same. It can twitch and swirl thrashing the hair into site, blocking all ells from view. So when in battle it gets in the way and catches in his eyes.
Personality: It's the space where nothing is. The Void a lone even when it has itself.
Void is a powerful being, strong willed, free spirit and lavaciouse attitude. When in a battle he is single minded. His every essence is prayed upon his foe and the surrounding area, even the sky where so few think to look. He is so fine tuned with the adrenalin that surges threw his veins that when the battle ends and he has a mind to think about himself he then realizes the wounds that are inflicted upon him.
Void doesn't want to admit it but he has a problem. Weather it is from the way he was raised or just the way the Maker created him he wasn't sure. But he craves attention. It doesn't show, or at least he tries to hide it. It's a weakness. The need to have someone ells to be there for him. But whenever he starts to get to know someone, starts to trust them he craves them. He needs that someone to always be there.
It's why he always pushes others away.
Void is strong of mind though, and very protective. If he could ever find it within himself to allow the trust to blossom into caring for that one then he would never let horror clash upon them. He would give his very being to save them.
Saying that you could call Void himself loyal.
Though there is another hidden problem. Void has tendencies to show little emotion, then when the glass shatters he can explode. Emotions like anger, jealousy, and rage are dangerous for him. Then again he has the capacity to trust, protect and love greatly.
Void is a loner, clinging to himself with everything he has. But if someone was to fill the cold depthless Void. Then the empty space, for both, would be no more.

Frigid wind bites threw skin, sinks into muscle and caresses the marrow. The frosted season of Winter was not yet here but it would be fogging the land soon. The last remaining leaves that clung to the deathly looking bark of the surrounding tree's sparkled with frozen dew, adding an almost ether real look to the land. The grass under hoof cracked and warned others of a beings presence long before they actually got near.
But there was still life within the valley. Standing tall and bushy tailed were luscious evergreens that were getting their regal timing. Where in the warmer seasons they were over thrown by the magnifigance of deciduous beings. A molting rabbit, stuck between brown and white, raised it's head, the long ears and small pink nose twitching. It had been alarmed by a noisily chattering chipmunk who was sitting upon a rock that was advantageous for his sight.
Something was coming, a being that none of the residence of this land has seen in a while. None of them were sure if what they sences was for real. But then when the shock of a domineering ebony pelt shifted into view all mouths gapped open.
With each exhale a vivid cloud of smoke escaped my nostrils; I probably resembled a maddened bull. That put a little quirk to my black lips. It was gone almost immediately though, it was sad when you could amuse yourself with such a simple thought. Then again it was understandable. I had been on my own, with only my mind to serve me. It's been a long¡very long time since I had encountered anyone of my own pedigree.
Sure I had encountered that mountain lion a little while back. And yeah it had felt good to just release myself on the predator. But I was bored with my life. It was the same damn thing every day, every night. Walk on and on and on, sleep for an hour, gaze out into oblivion, walk on and on and on, sleep for an hour, gaze out into oblivion and repeat, again and again and again.
I needed more stimulation in my life. And for me to admit that you knew it was bad. But I simply couldn't push myself to take that extra step, to turn into the scent of another horse and confront them. I had issues. Issues that were unhealthy for a horse like me. Issues that could and most likely would threw me into the bowls of hell for all eternity.
But then again, when I look at my life now what was I doing with it that was so great. So grand that it was worth preserving.
Those thoughts, the thoughts that ran threw my head are probably what lead my legs to shift, turn into a direction that I didn't tell them to go. It wasn't unknown for them to lead the way without asking though. At times they seemed to have a life of there own. Most of the time I just let them do what ever they wanted though. And this time I would not deprive them.
---
I don't know how much time later I stopped, but when finally I came to a halt I felt different. The terrain that surrounded me was breath taking. I didn't often find beauty in the world because it all seemed to blend together after a while. But this, this was different.
I knew that without a doubt I would claim all of this. How do you thank a part of yourself? I wasn't sure but I did the only way I could. Throwing my upper body into the air I let loose a vivid call. It was laced with dominance, possession and challenge. All the mixings in which to claim the very land I now stood upon. The call promised that this land was mine now which meant that I would defend off anything that tried to prove that fact wrong.
When I clashed to the ground I pondered. what have I just gotten myself into?
