Character Name: Shaia
Pronounced: Shay-ya
Gender: Mare (Female)
Age: 4 yrs. old
Other Characters: Jinx Afeu' - Captive
Appearance: Shaia is unique in her own special little way many have said. She has the bloodlines that are able to date back to the very first wild mustang, three thousand years ago or more. Through the years though horses went into the wild and bloodlines began to mix. Shaia is a mustang cross who stands 15.1hh. Her coat
is white with a leopard or blanket pattern of black and some brown colored spots. Spots range in size from very small to splotches of black. Pink muzzle and white mane and tail.
Shaia took on more the Freisian appearance with the feathered fetlocks, muscular chest and longer legs. Yet, she is still slender and holding about the average height for a wild mustang. Running is what she loves to do, she will stop at nothing to run, it is sort of her escape. She is surefooted and is able to turn rather quickly and remain at the same speed for long periods of time. Also because of her Friesian heritage she still remains a bit bulkier then the original mustangs and is a bit more less surefooted then her ancestors.
Scars: Under her mane, along her neck, you will see a three inch rigid scar, that was from a fight she had with another mare, when she was two.
Personality: Overall, Shaia is a kind and caring mare. She is very selective of her words and it takes a lot to anger her to the point where she will snap back and retaliate against you. Karma is what she believes in. She has always had the dream of being free again but, in this crazy world now a days getting that would be slim. She will defiantly if provoked enough give it a shot and try to escape. Shaia is the sort if you tell her to do something she will. A downfall to that is their is no given challenge, she is very unlikely to question why you have asked her to do what she is doing.
If provoked she will fight you every given step of the way, throw out a million and one questions, refuse every given order, talk back, and even escape. Confinement for her is a living hell. An easy way to make her go insane. A downfall to Shaia is even the smallest of unfamiliar noises causes her to take off running. Sometimes even the most familiar sounds and noises scare Shaia to where she takes off running. Something that does not go her way, she will take off running, eventually she will return.
She had only one love in her life, but that love is no longer there. When he left he stole her foal as well. Tearing her apart in ways only some could imagine. Foals to Shaia, she loves then to death. She has helped other mares out in time of need, as a babysitter or foster. Maybe a bit too much because she quickly gets attached and lashes out at others who try to interact, if she feels threatened in any way. Her own foals, if even given the chance to foal again, she is overly protective of them.
Rp Sample: Summer seemed to slip out of everyone's hand and within a snap of a finger and the change of day into nights fall. No longer was their the warm, hot and humid weather that caused everyone to sweat. It was cold, dark and damp. The grasses that were once lush beginning to get dormant and die. The trees slowly loosing their leaves and blanketing the earth for the upcoming winter months. Now horses and other animals stuck out like sore thumbs against the whites, greys, greens and browns if they were oddly colored and where not able to blend in like camouflage. Even fall seemed to slip though ones grasp as the winter months began to take effect. The land of Cappadocia was now blanketed in snow, and snow was falling still. The trees were coated with a grey and white mannor with hints of black bark, for Shaia, she could not be happier she was now camouflaged.
Out from the evergreen and tamarack forest a white and black horse stepped forth keeping a steady trot about her. Feet breaking into the hard packed snow that had already fallen and snow balls on her feathered fetlocks. Head was raised up and carried by a muscular neck that moved into a broad shoulder and then slender back and long legs. A dance almost elegant for many, but as a twig snapped because of her own accord, she bolted forward, nearly tripping and falling over her own feet. She snorted and coughed as she stood getting her balance and breathing heavily as she looked around, to realize she was the one that had caused herself to spook. Muzzle still had the remains of the powdered white fluffy snow that had fallen, and that she herself fell into. A snort was made again and at this point, some of flakes of snow fell off her muzzle. Her white coat blanketed with black and brown spots, wet. Melting any of the light snow flakes that landed on her boat.
She shook her body as what little snow flakes landed on her coat and remained snow, fell off now. Eyes now looked out around her and nostrils flared out and she took in the many new scents of the land. Every muscle within her body tense, both out of excitement and fear. New places to explore, new horses to meet, the one question that remained in her mind was, would she be accepted upon these lands or would she become a wondering loner. Only time would be able to tell and she was the one responsible for her own fate. New challenges lay ahead for Shaia, many she was never meet with before. Will she fall victim to them, go with it or beat it all.
Other: Somewhat stated throughout her whole application introduction. If needing more, please let me know. Wishing to become another captive.
