Appearance: Anniston stands up to 15.3 hh high, as a bay andalusian with one white sock on her right hind leg that goes almost all the way up to her knee. She stands slightly taller than average for her breed. Her dark chocolate brown orbs take in the setting and situation silently and accurately, while her longer legs are always at the ready to bolt or kick. Her longer legs give her more of a kicking range and also longer strides, but it's also easier for her to lose her balance. She cannot run very long with the muscles in her legs stretched thinner, but she can sprint a short distance very quickly. Her long strides cover more distance, but she weighs more than the smaller mares.
When the humans saw her tall form, she was immediately trained as a combat horse, then, after a year, her legs became less able to support a full armored soldier and they made her into a breeding horse, forcing her to breed at three for her tall stature with stallions that were very strong. During these times she was mistreated by both humans and the studs she bred with, therefore resulting in various scars on her face, but mostly on her flanks and back where whips lashed her and the males bit her.
Personality: Anniston's personality has its ups and downs, sometimes happy, bubbly, sometimes just downright dull and depressed. She can be perceived as bipolar, but luckily, she isn't, officially, at least. She does have some characteristics of bipolarism, like occasional fluctuations in temper when some feelings or opinions have been bottled up and slowly are taking over her usual quiet, thinking self. Her weaknesses don't show up often as other tend to think of them as already part of her personality. They're not necessarily weaknesses, however, they're only things that manage to spark something other than her usual mannerisms. She can have a preference for lusty/romantic stallions who are (or at least do a good job of acting) like they care, are kind, and are trustworthy. Unfortunately once she develops an opinion of someone it is extremely challenging to change her mind, therefore making Anniston very easy to manipulate once she is very close to a certain horse.Overall, she’s quite boyish but likes to flirt occasionally with those she likes. She’s trusting to only those whom she knows very well, so when she first meets someone, her attitude is polite but cold, yet there are ways to warm her up to someone more quickly than usual. Once they earn her so-called trust, though, she is very loyal, and also very believing of anything her close companions say, but disbelieving of anything opposing them.
