The Akatsuki have been destroyed. Tranquility has settled over the villages, and Tsunade and the rest of the kages have conducted treaties of peace. Less and less S-ranked and A-ranked missions have been assigned, due to a lack of criminal activity following the destruction of the Akatsuki. However, peace cannot last long. Uchiha Madara has returned, with a new Akatsuki -- nine skilled ninja he wishes to turn into containers of the bijuu. He will stop at nothing to extract the bijuu from their jinchuuriki and implant them in his own "comrades". What will become of the shinobi nations, when Uchiha Madara has all nine bijuu under his command...?
