Character Name: Akron Pronounced: Ak - Ron or Ak - rin Gender: Stallion Age: Almost 5 Side: Damascus; Warlord of Cathridge Other Characters: N/A
Appearance: Genuine and infamous ancestry carves an imperial beast, yet masked by the ambiguity of appearance he proffers no familiarity to outsiders. Combined with a vague history Akron’s presence is regal – demanding both attention and authority – while containing the utmost amount of mystery and primordial discipline. Skin deep he holds the stark representation of a Friesian warrior with ebon hide and silken crimped dreadlocks descending a muscular neck and thick legs; tail cut short at the posterior by the harsh maintenance of man. A complex and façade pair of eyes are enhanced by their unique colorations; the left being sky blue and the right being ruby red and the only hint to his heritage. An acute sense of hearing and sensitivity to vibrations compensates for partial blindness in his blue eye, lucky that the eye was not completey gutted from its socket during battle though the impairment is not obvious. Body is fashioned in a more refined and lithe manner than the typical Friesian heritage standing 17 hands high, yet with muscles clearly and equally defined, Akron’s strength is prominent. By natural breeding and training proposed by man, this stud is an expert in both stamina and grace. Bloodlines demand only the abilities to engage properly in battle, thus while disarming opponents and protecting one’s self are easily managed, speed in the format of running or chasing were never a common practice for Akron.
Personality: All of Akron’s qualities create an intricate cobweb, so that no one quality could be explained without the attributes of another. Thus should any part of Akron’s personality be altered or manifested, it would create a chain reaction resulting in either his and others benefit, or a complete psychological breakdown, causing physical dysfunction.
Promiscuous: Within his lifetime and as is natural, Akron will have as many sexual partners as any other stallion, but it is guaranteed that he will proclaim more mares as his Mistress than all other stallions combined. This is easily explained through lust and although it is not the most unfortunate thing Akron often succumbs to, it creates a lot of confusion and hostility among the ladies. With each new mare that this stud comes across, he finds an attribute in them which his currently presiding Mistress may lack, or he may desire a mare for the sheer joy of it and thus proclaim her his Mistress to have her. Ironically while he may declare his love and loyalty to a Mistress that is viewed by the public eye, he is often doing the same to multiple other mares at the same time in private, goading them with the idea that they may one day become Mistress themselves. If a Mistress does not produce offspring or produces deformed offspring, or produces more daughters than sons, Akron will find a more ‘productive’ Mistress to accept his services. Luckily he treats his Mistress’ quite nicely compared to most of the mares he comes across, thus the title has not lost its desire all together.
Unfaithful: Uniquely intertwined with his incapability to trust is Akron’s failure in remaining loyal. Living, breathing and acting strictly to the benefit of him, this majestic beast will break any bond, promise, commitment and heart in order to gain the advantage. Mares being as disposable as they are and stallions being either worthless or deceitful themselves, Akron finds himself presented with no valid evidence to convince him he need be faithful and loyal to anyone other than himself. The majority are unaware of this serpent he hides for he disposes a lot of psychological strength to ensure that his disloyalties are never discovered; the blame often put upon another.
Composed: Akron is not a beast whose feathers ruffle easily. On a regular basis he is often very quiet and comes off as shy, saying very little and acting nonchalantly regardless of how stressful the situation. He wears a natural façade of detachment and monotony, speaks in a low but commanding voice and relies mostly on his regal aura to command authority. Akron comes by the attribute naturally from his father, conveying the same amount of intelligence and maturity his sire was known for though he would be considered by most to be much more reserved. His composition is unsettling, appearing almost nonexistent and mechanic though enabling him to catch his opponents off guard when he does act out of character.
Prideful: Very much aware of his capacity to handle himself and those around him, as well as his striking features and having the mind of an intellectual, Akron has reserved the right to have one of the largest ego’s of any stallion. His cocky attitude runs so smoothly with the rest of his personality that nothing about his pride seems unnatural; it’s apparent Akron is not convincing himself that he is better or the best, he knows that he is.
Guardian: It seems awkward when regarding the rest of Akron’s wonderful characteristics, but he is an excellent protector of both his offspring and those around him. He is a devoted father and caretaker, the love of a mother and her foal being the only thing he is understanding and compassionate about, having experienced too much with his own dam. To those that are loyal, dedicated and have proven their worth Akron will defend to the utmost of his capabilities; perhaps one of the few times that he will not take a moments pause to consider the cost and the benefits.
So basically… Akron is a loyal father and caretaker, taking his leadership role very seriously so that he would never do anything intentionally to have any equine think bad of him. His promiscuity often gets him into trouble with both mares and stallions alike; he will take anything from anyone if he wants it, even from his closest ally. By females he is considered a lover and not a fighter for he will woo and swoon over any and every mare, lust being the only thing he submits to. Akron is very prideful and arrogant, a proud stallion that knows his strengths and weaknesses who will more often use logic than strength. By no means is he afraid to fight however, and he will turn on even the most loyal equine if it’s nessecary.

Other: Akron was captured near the end of Cappadocia's second man-war. In 32 BC, he found himself being shipped off to war. After his year and a half was spent abroad, he was shipped back to Cappadocia to breed and pass on the line of one of the original Warlords. The training his father gave him, as well as the harsh life of an active duty warhorse allowed him to escape his human captors just months before man left Cappadocia for the second time in 30 BC. He fought his way to the top of the pecking order of Damascus during 29 BC, and has ruled as Warlord for the past year.
