[bg=958357][atrb=width,493,true][atrb=border,0,true] Character Name: Jigsaw Pronounced: Jig - saw Gender: Mare Age: 4 Appearance: Image - Click Obviously of Appaloosa origin, Jigsaw is dominantly black in the legs, skull and half of her neck, as well as her mane and tail. Her main is inherantly short with barely a forelock dripping between her ears. There are distinct black speckled patches across her rump, on both hips as well as her underbelly and shoulders. The rest of her is dotted block on a base of off white - almost grey. Two back legs have white socks and white hooves, while her front hooves her much less pallid and closer to the normal hoof colour. Jigsaw has a little bit of grey and white splattered on her face, as well as an apparent multi-coloured triangle on both side of her neck meeting at her chest, going up along her shoulders and ending half way up her neck. Jigsaw bears the mark of her past - many, many marks. For the most part her scars blend into her pelt but are much more obvious in the darker parts of her body. She has a very defined high step which corresponds with a very refined, arrogantly held skull which bobs as she walks. There is an obvious hinderance in her back end from numerous forced breedings, so Jigsaw cannot put her weight on her back end at all; minor crow hops the most she can manage. Bucking is her only use of defense and is sometimes made weak by her injured hips, but she has strong front legs and jaw muscles. Her face is exceptionally distinct due to her deep blue eyes, though her left is moderately lighter and almost white; she is not blind, though. Jigsaw is 16.1 hands even at the whithers and has a much lighter build than is typical; characteristic of Arabian lineage. Personality: Ironically, Jigsaw does not fear stallions or even hate them; her past has merely enhanced her untrusting personality to the point of paranoia. It's unfortunate really, because while she can get along with the horses she comes across and may even make friends, she questions even the most loyal equine; fearing she is being plotted against or being bad mouthed behind her back. It prevents Jigsaw from truely being comfortable in this world as she feels she is the target for every horse - not so much a victim, though. She does not want any sympathy for what she has endured, though feels herself to be justified by what she has been through. Jigsaw herself is very loyal and dedicated, and so she often gets her 'heart' broken since few equines exist who aren't corrupted. For the most part she is rather forgiving but tends to hold a grudge for quite some time until she is either apologized to, or she just forgets. Jigsaw wants a friend and perhaps even a lover, but her inconsistant ovulation and abusive experiences causes her to be more than skeptic. Overly sarcastic, this mare gets herself into trouble - a lot! She is often taken too seriously for the most part as well, and so it's not uncommon for her to unintentionally hurt another horses feelings and make unnessecary enemies. Jigsaw is just a funny mare though and never means to hurt anyone with her smart ass humor. She is very blunt and honest though, so hesitation is not something she is good at; this often contradicts her sarcasm, since some don't know when she is speaking true or just playing around. Jigsaw is also quite calm and reserved, not one to have her feathers easily ruffled. When she does get mad she has a very, very bad temper, and since she often keeps her emotions and thoughts to herself, she has been known to blow up. Rp Sample: N/A Other: Jigsaw was originally meant to be a brood mare for the War, and so endured a lot of breeding; excessive breeding, actually. Having not once produced a foal, it was only assumed that Jigsaw was infertile since she had been paired with a variety of different studs. This was not 'discovered', or rather it was ignored, for some time and Jigsaw was tiring of the abuse from the Warlords; not only was she raped and beaten by the stallions, but abused by the men as well for not 'carrying all the way to term.' Jigsaw had many false pregnanices but produced nothing more than blood when it came time to birth. She felt it best to escape and allied with a Warlord long enough to escape the fences of the men and enter freedom; at which point she left the stallion to be on her own.
