Character Name: Sekhmet
Pronounced: Sec-met
Gender: Mare
Age: 4
Rank: War Mare
Appearance: ] She is a bright chestnut, her coat like spun gold. She stands at 16.2hh and has a very athletic look to her. She has good endurance and is fast over short distances. She lacks strength though, and is less likely to win in a fight. Her speed does help a little though.
Personality: She is a mare that is strong-willed and resilient, but is easily annoyed and has a small temper on her. She can be seductive, but very teasingly at the same time. She gets into trouble alot and that just leads to her getting angry and fighting. She prefers not to fight, put likes to let horses know she is a strong mare (mentally, not so much physically). She is unsure right now on what her life may lead to. She was a bit of a slut when she was being breed all the time, but she has set her standards higher now that time has ended.
Rp Sample: Hoof beats thudding on the ground in a gentle rhythm, like music. The sand was matching, fitting, contrasting. Snorts filling the air, blowing the hot desert air in and out. The sand stung slightly and flaring nares, but the mare was used to it. Golden sand flying out behind the mare in a dust cloud, blending with the sun-hued. Mane flying long and silky, whipcord drifting like molten gold. Her gait was smooth and rhythmic. Her hooves left small half-moons behind, soon swallowed by the cloud of dust. She was in the sand dunes, her sand dunes.
She felt like she was flying, like she always did on these runs. She ran for the pure joy of it, the love of feeling her hooves sink into the warm sand, her mane whipping around her in the warm breeze. She felt like she was an eagle, like the one who always soared above her on these runs, every time. She glanced up, her chocolate colored orbs looking fondly at her friend. He soared above her, enjoying the warm sun.
She accelerated, her ears pinning as she tried her hardest to race him, like at the end of every run.Her breath came in short and deep puffs as her legs stretched, long and golden across the sand. She knew she was a site to behold, the golden liquid of her coat shining in the sun she was named after, her ears pinned to her skull as she fought, her legs a blur as the sand whipped and whirled. She was the Sun Goddess.
She suddenly slid to a stop, upon seeing the end of her beloved dunes which she ran over. The sand danced like a wave reaching the shore around her, mingling with her golden chestnut coat. She reared, screaming her love and joy, calling a stallion to claim her, like she did every day. She longed for another horse, she had not seen one since the end of....that time. Her listeners pinned and her forelegs combed her belly. She settled, her listeners pricked hopefully for the call of any horse, like they would stay until nightfall.
Other: She was originally from Egypt, she is an Egyptian Arabian and she was named after the Sun Goddess.
