Her face is black with a white blaze starting from the middle of her nostrils, going up her face and into her white forelock. Much of her body is rich ebon colour with a mostly solid white patch starting from the ivory of her forelock, and going down each side of her neck, past her shoulders and collecting near her barrel where four distinct black spots are; two being smudged together to look like a pair of eyes. All four legs have white stockings, with her back pair going up into a white patch on her hindquarters. Her mane and tail are a mixture of white and black as well, with the slightest hint of blond in her tail. She has rich brown eyes that appear very light in comparison to her dark body Other; She has an exceptionally long and powerful neck with powerful cranial muscles. Where scars and old wounds have healed, the fur has returned as a brown bay colour; most evident around her muzzle, hindquarters and inner legs. Having very long and muscular legs, Evelyn is the picturesque fighting horse. Ups & Downs; She stands at 16 hands which are relatively short for most war horses, and she weighs in at 1000 pounds making her quite light as well. A strong back end makes this mare’s defense and assault of rearing a more potent attack than her bucks. Her lighter build makes her extremely agile with sharp turns being a specialty of hers. However, whether in or out of battle, Evelyn has to be careful who she picks an argument with; she can be easily pushed around by heavier and even taller horses. Personality: Your Basic War Horse; Simplistic. Unsophisticated. When you think of a fighting bitch and all the characteristics that go with it, you can easily define Evelyn. She seems to lack class in the way of how to speak and how to act, and does little more than what is expected from her - if that. She is your basic War Mare from ear tip to hoof tip, the cause being her history and strict training of fighting. She can be insecure and outmatched yet genetics force her to fight, depriving her of all rationallity, common sense and even intelligence at times. Dominant; Not a single War horse is deprived of the domineering trait to rule over all, yet Evelyn's superior design seems to be more closely related to a Warlord than a War Mare (no doubt because she was never a brood.) There is no mare that Evelyn will neglect to challenge, and most stallions cannot avoid her wraith either. She is not so much power hungry as bred to fight, which has only enstilled her hierarchial ambitions deeper into her veins. Observant; Quick thinking and processing, and scrutiny of other equines gives Evelyn a very advantageous upper-hand; the only one that really keeps her from getting killed. Whether in battle or upon first greeting, this mare observes and accepts as much as possible from those she has encountered. For the most part she retains all of the information, and quickly takes in any new information for future use. What she doesn't remember usually doesn't hurt her. Controlling; Though less than aware of her 'problems' since it's how most war horses are born, Evelyn tries her best to have full control over herself and her surroundings... when she is capable of it. Easily distracted with the desire to fight yet easily distraught by this desire at the same time, Evalyn tries to salvage something from her chaotic world. Thus, to an extent, she tries to control those around her; occasionally using her less than perfect seductive techniques. She knows she can control stallions, if only slightly, with her natural sex and feminine appeal. Mares she doesn't give a shit for. Unstable; Due to her breeding, Evelyn lacks the full control which even brood mares have against her. It's pitiful, since she doesn't exactly like to be compared to stallions, yet that's what she resembles in her entirety. Naturally she is not as aggressive as those arrogant brutes, but her hot-headedness and deeply innate hostility doesn't make her extremely different at first glance. She has cut off from other horses just like the War stallions and few other War mares, so her social skills are zero. Having never been bred and not taught to tolerate the process, she is less than receptive to courtship.
